What Happens During LASIK Laser Eye Surgery

With the Excimer laser, Dr. Tandon reshapes the surfaces of your cornea, to correct your vision impairment.

Your natural corneal tissue to laid back in place where it will heal naturally without the need for stitches.
Once your LASIK procedure is completed, we will monitor you for up to 30 minutes to ensure you are on the right track to optimal recovery. A predetermined friend or family member will be responsible for driving you home after your surgery.
Recovering From LASIK Laser Eye Surgery
After returning home from surgery, most patients experience a bit of discomfort as the anesthetic wears off. Dr. Tandon will provide lubricating eye drops to help combat any discomfort following your LASIK vision correction procedure. We will also provide a protective eye shield you will be required to wear while sleeping.
Within a couple of days of your procedure, you will return to NeoVision Eye Center for a follow-up consultation. We will evaluate your vision and examine your recovery and healing symptoms.
