Dr. Pawanjot Kaur
Dr. Pawanjot Kaur grew up in Fremont and is grateful to serve the community that raised her. She attended UC Berkeley for her undergraduate studies in Public Health and the UC Berkeley School of Optometry for her Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Kaur is dedicated to delivering comprehensive eye care that prioritizes empathy and understanding, empowering her patients through education and personalized treatment plans. She is passionate about learning new languages and is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Spanish.
Throughout her clinical rotations, Dr. Kaur gained valuable experience working with diverse patient populations at the Byers Eye Institute Stanford, Proctor Foundation at UCSF, Veterans Affair hospital Portland, Oregon, John Muir/UCSF Berkeley Outpatient Clinic, AHS Hayward Wellness Center, and Meredith Morgan Eye Center, Berkeley.
Dr. Kaur is Board Certified by the State of California to diagnose, manage, and treat diseases of the eye, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. She is committed to empowering her patients through education about their eye conditions and the importance of preventative care strategies, particularly in addressing the growing epidemics of myopia and dry eye disease in this digital age.
When not taking care of her patients, Dr. Kaur enjoys writing children’s books, painting with her daughter, spending time with her family, and traveling.
